Job Description:
Work at MPB Technologies Inc., you can be part of a team that works mainly on challenging R&D projects to create innovative photonics devices for space application. Your main task is to perform mechanical structure design and FEM analysis.
Your responsibilities will include the following:

Mechanical structure design of new products
-
Validate various aspects of design and component sizing, as assigned by the Project Manager

Conduct static, dynamic and frequency response FEA
-
Analysis on mechanical structure, including Stress, Thermal Analysis
-
Working with manufacturers to design for manufacturability, conformance and product-specific requirements
Job Requirements:
-
Minimum Bachelor Degree in mechanical Engineering or a related field
-
At least three years’ experience in mechanical structure design and design analysis
-
Strong analytical ability in structural analysis, static & dynamic analysis, frequency response analysis

Experience with SolidEdge CAD software is must
-
Experience with FEM software (preferably ANSYS) on stress, thermal analysis is must
-
Aerospace experience is an asset
-
Ability to self-motivate
